It has been both an honour and a profound responsibility to support the relief efforts in the immediate aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. Over the past several weeks, we have witnessed the remarkable power of community—the way compassion, coordination, and collective action can illuminate even the darkest moments.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the many individuals, groups, corporations, and organizations whose generosity and solidarity made this effort possible. To the Consul-General of Jamaica, Mr. Kurt Davis, thank you for your steadfast leadership and collaboration.
