About the program
This program offers a tailored support program designed for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) youth—ages 18 to 29—who identify as having a disability (visible or non-visible) and face challenges in finding or maintaining employment.

• The Persons with Disabilities Employment Support program offers:
  • Enhanced employment assistance services.
  • Enhanced employer support.
  • Work experience.
  • Coaching.
• You can apply for the program at any time during the year.
• The application process starts with a one-on-one interview.
• The program is tailored to each participant’s needs and goals.
• There are limited spots for this program.

Eligibility

• Must be between the ages of 18 and 29.
• Must self-identify as having a disability, including physical and or visual impairments, as well as mental health and other non-visible disabilities.
• Must be a resident of Ontario, a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, convention refugee or refugee claimant with a valid work permit.
• Must be out of school/work or only working/studying part-time and not registered currently with any other community employment centre.
• Must be a resident of Toronto.
• Must self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or Person of Colour).
• Must self-identify as disabled (including non-visible disabilities).
