A proud and powerful moment for Tropicana Community Services, for Canada, and for communities of African descent globally.

We celebrate Anthony Grey, Board President & Chair, for his impactful address to the United Nations Permanent Forum on People of African Descent (PFPAD).

His message was clear, disciplined, and necessary:

“Inclusion is not a slogan.
Equity is not an option.
Execution is everything.”

At Tropicana, this is not just rhetoric—it is how we operate. We are committed to turning intention into action, and action into measurable impact for the communities we serve.

Anthony’s leadership on the global stage reflects the strength, vision, and voice of our organization—and reinforces our shared responsibility to move beyond dialogue toward real, sustained change.

As he reminded us:

“Justice delayed is justice denied.”

Anthony Grey, President & Board Chair, Tropicana Community Services Address to the United Nations in Geneva, April 12-17, 2026 Distinguished delegates, colleagues, and honored guests, My name is Anthony Grey. I am the CEO of a technology services company, but today I speak as the Board Chair & President of Tropicana Community Services, Canada’s largest B3 organization: Black-led, Black-serving, and Black-focused—and as a guest of the Canadian Government. I appear here before you carrying both the weight of history and the responsibility of action. For generations, people of African descent have had their faith tested—faith in institutions, in fairness, and in opportunity. Yet despite systemic barriers, we have endured, contributed, and led. THE QUESTION BEFORE US IS NOT WHETHER INCLUSION MATTERS — IT IS WHETHER WE WILL EXECUTE. In my 2025 submission to the United Nations, I emphasized that repairing past harm must begin with education. Education was once forbidden because it creates independence and power. Today, I call for every nation that benefited from the slave trades to guarantee two years of free post-secondary education. This is not charity—it is a strategic investment in human capital. But intention without action delivers nothing. We must apply the same focus used by the world’s most successful organizations: set clear goals—access, completion, employment, and wealth creation; fund what works, and hold ourselves accountable with public results. We know where to find the capital. If we audit defense spending and redirect efficiencies to education for just two years, we can invest in people—not just systems. And as we look ahead, equity must extend to the digital world. We must invest in Afro-centric AI, ensuring our communities are not excluded from shaping the future. INCLUSION IS NOT A SLOGAN. EQUITY IS NOT OPTIONAL. EXECUTION IS EVERYTHING. If we act with discipline and intent, we can restore faith—and build a world where inclusion is measurable, scalable, and real. Finally, JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED. Thank you.
