Tropicana Community Services (TCS) is a community-based organization committed to empowering children, youth, families, newcomers, seniors, and diverse communities through culturally responsive programs and services. As part of our digital transformation strategy, TCS is seeking proposals from qualified web design and development firms to design, develop, and implement a modern, secure, accessible, and user-friendly website that reflects our mission and enhances service delivery.

Project Overview

Tropicana Community Services (TCS) invites qualified web development firms and digital agencies to submit proposals for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of a new corporate website.

This project will consolidate our two existing websites:

into a single, modern, accessible, multilingual digital platform that reflects our organization’s mission, improves user experience, enhances service delivery, and supports future organizational growth.

The successful proponent will work collaboratively with the TCS project team to design a secure, scalable, and user-friendly website that serves community members, clients, donors, partners, employers, volunteers, and staff.

Project Objectives

The successful proponent will deliver a solution that:

  • Provides easy access to community programs and services
  • Consolidate mytropicana.ca and sbcci.ca into one integrated platform
  • Supports secure online donations and fundraising campaigns
  • Digitizes scholarship applications and review processes
  • Connects employers with job seekers through employment services
  • Enhances community engagement and public communications
  • Strengthens transparency and stakeholder trust
  • Enables efficient website administration by TCS staff
  • Support bilingual content in English and French

Scope of Work

The selected vendor will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting the new website.

Alternative technologies that meet the project requirements are welcome.
