Official Contest Rules and Regulations
- Contest Organizer
The WestJet Prize Draw (the “Contest”) is organized and administered by Tropicana Community Services, located at 1385 Huntingwood Drive, Scarborough, Ontario (the “Organizer”).
- Contest Period
The Contest begins on November 15, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and closes on March 31, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
All eligible entries must be received during the Contest Period.
- Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Individuals directly involved in administering the Contest or selecting the winner, as well as their spouses, common-law partners, parents, children, and siblings, are not eligible to participate.
- How to Enter
No purchase or donation necessary.
To enter the Contest:
Visit mytropicana.ca.
Join Tropicana Community Services’ mailing list by completing the subscription form.
Provide your name and a valid email address.
That’s it! Once your subscription is successfully submitted, you will be entered into the Contest.
Limit of one (1) entry per person. Multiple subscriptions or submissions will not result in additional entries.
Individuals who are already subscribed to Tropicana Community Services’ mailing list may participate by confirming their subscription through the Contest entry form during the Contest Period.
Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time without forfeiting an otherwise valid Contest entry.
- Prize Description
One (1) prize will be awarded.
One roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination.*
No cash value. Taxes, fees, and surcharges not included. Blackout dates and restrictions apply.
The prize is subject to WestJet’s applicable terms and conditions, including booking requirements, travel restrictions, and voucher expiration dates.
The prize is not redeemable for cash. Any costs not expressly included in the prize are the responsibility of the winner and their travelling companion.
- Winner Selection
One (1) potential winner will be selected by random draw on Wednesday, April 14, 2027, from all eligible entries received by March 31, 2027, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The selected entrant will be notified by email and must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance, before being declared the official winner.
No purchase or donation is necessary to enter. Official Contest Rules and Regulations apply.
As a condition of accepting the prize, the selected winner agrees to participate in a photograph arranged by Tropicana Community Services and to sign a publicity and photo release form.
The winner grants Tropicana Community Services permission to use their name, photograph, and likeness in connection with announcing and promoting the Contest, including publication on the organization’s website, social media channels, electronic newsletters, and other promotional materials, without additional compensation.
The winner agrees to make themselves reasonably available for a photograph at a mutually agreed-upon time and location.
If the selected entrant declines to complete the required publicity release, Tropicana Community Services reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to select an alternate winner.
- Winner Notification and Prize Claim
The selected entrant will have five (5) business days from the date of notification to respond and claim the prize.
If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, does not respond within the specified period, fails to meet the eligibility requirements, or incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate potential winner.
- General Conditions
By entering the Contest, participants agree to comply with these Official Contest Rules and Regulations.
The Organizer reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise in violation of these rules.
The Organizer reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control compromise its integrity or administration.
The Contest is subject to applicable federal and provincial laws.
- Privacy and Communications
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, contact the selected entrant, and fulfill the prize.
By providing express consent to subscribe to Tropicana Community Services’ mailing list, participants agree to receive communications about programs, services, community events, news, and opportunities to support the organization’s work.
Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link included in Tropicana Community Services’ emails.
Unsubscribing will not affect an otherwise valid Contest entry.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- WestJet Disclaimer
The prize is generously provided by WestJet and is subject to WestJet’s applicable terms, conditions, blackout dates, and restrictions.
WestJet is not responsible for administering the Contest unless expressly stated otherwise in its agreement with the Organizer.
