Tropicana’s Employment Centre offers employers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) several programs to help reduce the time and cost of recruiting and improving the success rate in finding the right people. Take advantage of a free customized recruitment plan, financial incentives, prescreened candidates, and much more.

Free customized recruitment plan
A member of our staff will work with you to create your own customized recruitment plan. This may include identifying the vacancies in your organization, skill and experience analysis, developing job descriptions, determining hiring goals, headcount planning, analyzing candidate profiles, and taking on the selection and onboarding process.

Free recruitment, prescreening, and placement
Tropicana can prescreen resumes and conduct prescreening interviews to facilitate this time-consuming part of the recruitment process. We also offer support to both the employer and candidate once work starts via on-the-job training and candidate development plans.

Financial incentives
Eligible employers can receive financial incentives to offset the costs of providing on-the-job training, including apprenticeship training, work experience opportunities, and skill assessments for participants on job trials.

Free job postings
Once registered with Tropicana’ Employment Centre employers, employers can benefit from free job postings on our online job board and in our resource centre, which is open to job seekers at our office in North York.

Job Fairs and Hiring Events
If you want to be a part of our next job fair, or if you plan to attend a job fair and would like to notify candidates that they can meet you there, we can help.

Alternatively, a great way to fill numerous openings quickly is by hosting a hiring event for your organization. Tropicana Employment Centre will help you promote your event and get candidates ready for the day.
