Counselling can be useful for individuals trying to find solutions to life’s challenges. Tropicana’s counselling service provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to work through issues by identifying aspects of their lives in need of change or exploring ways in which to cope. Individual, family and group sessions may be provided.
How Do Counselling Services Work?
The relationship is between the individual, or group of individuals, such as members of a family, and the counsellor. While discussing areas of concern, individuals receive culturally aware support with practical tools to understand their thoughts, feelings, actions, and the impact of their decisions, while also understanding the views of others. Through this process of reflection and increased insight, individuals then develop realistic strategies to achieve better outcomes.
