On June 4, 2026, Tropicana Community Services proudly welcomed community leaders, partners, elected officials, supporters, and new friends to our inaugural One Tropicana FriendRaiser.
The evening was an opportunity to celebrate more than 45 years of impact, share our vision for the future, unveil our new 2026–2029 Strategic Plan, and launch the 100 Friends of Tropicana initiative.
Most importantly, it was an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with individuals who share our belief in the power of community, opportunity, and collective impact.
A highlight of the evening was the premiere of “The Tropicana Effect – We Change Lives,” a short film that captures the history, heart, and future of Tropicana Community Services.

The energy, enthusiasm, and support demonstrated throughout the evening reinforced our confidence in the future and our commitment to continuing to serve Black, African, and Caribbean communities across the Greater Toronto Area.
