The steel pan/steelpan is the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago. This program teaches participants how to play this wildly popular instrument in an encouraging environment.

Schedule: Classes are available every Saturday afternoon or Monday evening for each 8-week term.
Saturday:
Beginner: 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Intermediate: 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Advanced: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Monday:
Beginner: 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
2025-2026 Season Class Dates
FALL 2025
(There are no lessons on Thanksgiving Weekend – October 11 to 13, 2025)
Saturdays: The first class is September 27, 2025 and last class is November 22, 2025
Mondays: The first class is September 29, 2025 and last class is November 24, 2025
WINTER 2026
(There are no lessons on Family Day Weekend – February 14 to 16, 2026)
Saturdays: The first class is January 3, 2026 and last class is February 28, 2026
Mondays: The first class is January 5, 2026 and last class is March 2, 2026
SPRING 2026
(There are no lessons on March Break – March 16 to 20, 2026 | Easter Weekend – April 3 to 6, 2026 | Victoria Day Weekend May 16 to 18, 2026)
Saturdays: The first class is March 21, 2026 and last class is May 23, 2026
Mondays: The first class is March 23, 2026 and last class is May 25,2026
Spring 2026 Concert will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, time TBC.

Age: 9-65+
Class Size: Each class has a capacity of 17 participants.
Cost: Lessons cost $180 per student, per term. There is no discount or reduction of fees for individuals who start after the term begins or miss classes.
