For Black youth ages 14–25 in Scarborough and East Toronto, The Life Skills Development for Black Youths program is a safe and supportive space for young people to build life tools, grow their confidence, and stay on a positive path. Whether you’re navigating challenges, facing big decisions, or just want someone in your corner, this program is for you.

Through a mix of group sessions, workshops, and real-world learning experiences, you’ll gain the tools to manage stress, build healthy relationships, and take control of your future — all in a space that understands and respects your culture and lived experiences.

For Referrals

The Life Skills Development for Black Youths program is a low-barrier, culturally responsive diversion initiative designed to support young people who are either:

  • At risk of involvement in the justice system
  • Currently navigating the system and in need of structured support

This program provides an opportunity for youth to engage in:

  • Pro-social skill building
  • Identity-based mentorship
  • Positive peer environments
  • Goal-oriented personal development
